This is where I share links to random things that I’ve read or come across during the past week.  Feel free to share yours in the comments.

Christians should make better films or just stop making them…

Holy Women Hope in God…

I made reference to joy and happiness in the sermon this week, tried to split hairs and I was wrong, I see it now, forgive me. I wish there was a better way to correct past sermon mistakes.

  1. Wow, Spencer. The links today really grabbed me. I ordered 2 books..one you recommended and one linked from the other. The article on Discipline of Children was really good. I hope everyone reads it. I think I might go read it again! Thanks, Joy

  2. thanks joy, the book, “This Momentary Marriage” is wonderful, and I haven’t even read the whole thing from cover to cover. I have two copies if anyone else is interested in reading. John Piper undresses the sentimentality of marriage that our culture is fed, and instead gets to the wonderful core of the marriage covenant. The article on discipline of children is hard, especially when your in the everyday battle, but I agree, it’s wise and needed.

  3. i’ll gladly borrow that book.

  4. Don’t worry Greg. I bought this book a few weeks ago. Should be in the mail soon.
