What’s with the name? The Short Story of Isaac’s Keep

So you think Isaac’s Keep is a weird name for a church? You’re right it is but it was formed from a progression of personal experiences and the study of God’s Word.  Using biblical terminology it literally means “a strong tower of promise.”  The name suggests a lot of different things to whoever you ask, and that’s fine.  Why doesn’t it sound more like a church name?  Because all the good church names have been taken and we desired a different name, a creative name.  Furthermore, we are far more concerned about being and doing church rather than what the name says on the sign.  Hang around and the name will grow on you.
